Exogenesis is a dark sci-fi adult RP community set in a future where life on earth is no longer possible. In a hurried rush for survival; humanity reached for the stars, but never made it past the moon. Resources are running out, crime is running rampant, and the human gene is running thin in a society governed by the latest in genetic therapy, and protected by a demented AI that finds entertainment in torturing anything that can scream. Welcome to Exogenesis.
Premise
Exogenesis takes place in the year 2212 when the Earth is no longer inhabitable. Colonists live above the Earth's atmosphere in space stations laboring day to day to survive. Colonists range from Humans, BioGens, and Cybernetic/Robotic characters that can be anything from First Belt laborers to high government officials. Procreation is illegal and the population is strictly managed in fertility labs. The AI, known as the Exogen, is both elusive and feared.
Game play is done online using the Second Life 3D environment where players make 3D avatars and use real time chat for role play.
